Over 70 bids on home at auction!

We’ve seen a strong start to auction clearance rates this year already, and experts say we should continue to experience growth in the property market throughout 2020.

The NSW Auction Clearance Rate sat at 73% for the week ending 19 January, and we certainly experienced positive results at our most recent auction night at the Belle Property Auction Centre.

26 Forestview Way, Woonona was up for sale on the evening, and the auction was well attended by prospective purchasers, attracting 7 registered bidders for the property.

Auctioneer Andrew Cooley took an opening bid of $920,000 on the 3-bedroom home, and bidding came in quickly from another 4 registered parties. After over 70 bids back and forth between the parties, the property sold under the hammer for $1,099,000 – well above the set reserve price.

Featuring fresh modern finishes and low-maintenance comfort this home was always destined to impress. The free-flowing single level floorplan, surrounded by manicured greenery in a quiet, family-friendly estate attracted over 80 groups viewing at open homes, with 24 contracts issued to prospective purchasers.
