Increase in open home attendance

With 2020 now in full swing and a range of new property listings hitting the market, we have seen an increased level of buyer and tenant activity, and greater attendance at open for inspections.

An increase in open home numbers is an sign of improved confidence in the property market, according to Domain economist Trent Wiltshire.

47 Grey Street, Keiraville attracted 18 prospective tenants at the last inspection

“It’s a good indicator of buyer interest. People, even if they’re just thinking of buying, they’re starting to attend home inspections in greater numbers,” Mr Wiltshire said.

This increase has not been limited to properties for sale, we have also experienced greater numbers of prospective tenants attending our rental open for inspections as well as an increase in rental applications. This is translating to some wonderful results for our clients, with 5 properties leased on a single day during the past week.
